DPN was established in 1999 by a group of like-minded business people working in the digital/ICT sector. DPN grew quickly with support from SWRDA, Cornwall Council, BT and others, delivering substantial projects funded through Objective 5b, Objective 1 and more recently Convergence ESF funding and SFA funding.
DPN works in partnership to deliver projects funded by the European Social Fund / Skills Funding Agency, a range of pan European projects funded by the EU and is also contracted to deliver SFA (Skills Funding Agency) mainstream-funded Apprenticeship provision on behalf of both The Learning Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall Adult Education Service (CAES).
Through these wide ranging projects DPN supports Cornwalls business community with it's use of ICT and digital skills, young people with career development and skills and the unemployed to gain the digital skills they need to get back into work.
