Creative media company & DPN members Dead Interesting Productions, based near Helston, has unveiled their next generation of video enhanced websites with the launch of Cornish holiday company Rinsey Green’s new rich media site.

Using the latest in web video technology, the Rinsey Green website provides video tours of their traditional self-catering cottages and a documentary-style guide to the outstanding natural beauty of west Cornwall.

Emlyn Harris of Dead Interesting Productions: “With the widespread adoption of broadband technology web video has now become an afford-able reality. As experienced video and web professionals, DIP are at the forefront of this exciting new media. Our next generation video enhanced websites use the latest in web video technology to provide Hi-Definition, low bandwidth videos which will play on all but the slowest broadband connection using the free Flash player. As 98% of computers have the player installed, the video simply plays in the web browser, automatically. It's web video how it should be - simply effective. The Rinsey Green website has been nominated for The Media Innovation Awards 2008, for its innovative use of screen-based media. Charlie Wigzell of Rinsey Green: “We enjoyed working with DIP to produce the new website. They have an instinctive feel for the medium and our customers have responded very favourably.” Other video projects for Dead Interesting Productions have included a web video tour and accompanying DVD production of the magical Greek island of Paxos for the Somerset-based holiday company Planos, helping them to achieve the prestigious AITO Travel Company of the Year Award. Nick Harvey, Director of the Paxos programme: “DIP … captured the spirit of the island in a completely original five minute video, with a specially written voice-over and musical score. The video is now integral to our website and we were de-lighted at the ease with which this was conceived and produced. We are equally pleased with the results, and the compliments from clients old and new”.
Emlyn Harris: “Video-rich websites have an immediate impact and it’s an extremely cost-effective way of advertising your business or products. Our latest range of Internet Property Video packages have been developed especially for holiday property owners and Estate Agencies. The completed video tours can easily be integrated into an existing website or we can provide a hosting service for seamless viewing, 24 hours a day. Property videos are priced from as little as £175.” New for 2008, Dead Interesting Productions have launched an updated website detailing their film, video and web video facilities, and highlighting their full range of website, audio, motion, and graphic services. Emlyn Harris: “Dead Interesting Productions provides a one-stop comprehensive digital media solution for business in Cornwall and beyond.
