The University of Exeter in Cornwall, in collaboration with the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) partners, has launched a Research and Development fund with support from Objective One "to assist individuals and organisations in the development of intellectual capital".<br /> <br /> Funding is available for SME's in Cornwall to support Research and Development projects. Businesses can apply for funding to support true R&D needs, e.g. to support staff costs in the development of prototypes or the assessment of the feasibility of a new product / process. Market research and design projects are excluded.<br /> <br /> Support will be given to individual businesses or small business clusters (i.e. 2-4 individual businesses working in partnership).
