Oscar-nominated screenwriter calls for entries for Screenwriter Development Competition. Oscar-nominated screenwriter William Nicholson today encouraged writers in the region to apply for a new screenwriting competition which offers £3,000 and mentoring from the man himself.

Deadline for entries: Thursday 15 August
Speaking at the International Screenwriters' Festival in Cheltenham, Bill officially called for entries for the Screenwriter Development Competition which has been launched by South West Screen - the agency for film, TV and digital media in the South West of England.
