Business Link: October 2009 business regulation changes

A number of key government departments issued their changes in regulation on the 1st October and the 6th April, these are called Common Commencement Dates (CCDs). This announcement will be the last of 2009.

These updates/changes include...
The national minimum wage (NMW) From 1 October 2009, Tips, service charges etc and the national minimum wage, Company and business names, Directors' addresses, Redundancy payments and certain employment tribunal awards, Memorandums and articles of association, Changes to where, how and when people can view company records, Regulation of community interest companies (CICs) & Notification of particulars of share capital.
