Bryn Hackland - Latitude 50

Latitude 50 was formed in 2003 in Helston from a merger of the IT interests of Bryn Hackland and Alan Rowntree Ltd. Latitude 50 develops business management systems from low end systems through to large scale web enabled applications using SQL server. We have over 30 years experience in different business environments and have the understanding to ensure that developed systems meet the business needs. We are an ISO9001 and ISO 27001 accredited business.

We look to establish long term relationships with our clients and this often leads to Latitude 50 providing outsourced management of a client's complete IT systems. Our client base stretches from large corporate clients such as IKEA and BAE Systems through to small business and we are particularly keen to support local business. As a spinoff from hosting secure web based systems for our large corporate clients , we have our own in house, secure, comprehensively firewalled and resilient server network and provide web and email hosting for a large number of businesses.
We also run an online shop ( www.buycornwall.co.uk) for Cornish business who don't have the resources for a full e-commerce operation but want to sell their goods to a worldwide market. This is a low cost entry for local business.
Outside of work, Bryn is heavily involved in ensuring that the private sector has an influence and voice in the development of economic strategies for West Cornwall and is chairman of the West Cornwall Business Network (www.wcbn.co.uk), chairman of the Business Group for the South Kerrier Alliance and vice-chair of the Economy and Enterprise Partnership delivery group of West Cornwall Together.
We are a friendly approachable company with no committed alliance to software or hardware suppliers and can give you independent IT advice and support.
