They are starting with a simple product, catalogues and portfolios on DVD. By next summer they aim to produce 25 five minute "BOPDOQUMENTARIES". They initially had a little problem with the domain name bopdoq.com which had been nicked by a Venezuelan company. They tried to re-sell it to them for $2000 but they said no thanks and registered bopdoq.co.uk.
Bopdoq are about to develop thier site and will be looking for a web designer, see opportunities below. At the moment they are not offering jobs, but building a portfolio of potential collaborators working in the film industry that they can access in the future. They are looking for editors (Premiere-Pro), graphic designers (Photoshop), cameramen, photographers including students or semi-professional freelancers.
Bopdoq are running regular events at the St.Ives Arts Club and are about to create a sort of active buzzing meeting point in a wonderful small venue where local film makers can show their productions, (including commercials) "We'll mix short films, music and performance to attract a very diverse audience, including visual artists and craft practitioners".
Sunday the 10th of September from 6pm will open the season. Contact
