Blogs and viruses big in 2007, says Gartner

The blogging community will peak in the first half of this year, and three-quarters of businesses will be infected by malware by next Christmas. That's according to IT research consultancy Gartner, which has published details of a number of technology predictions for 2007. Its research suggests that by the end of the year, 75% of enterprises will be victims of undetected, financially motivated malware that is capable of evading their defence systems.
