Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta download

Graphics software publisher Adobe has announced the availability of a downloadable version of its forthcoming image editor, Photoshop CS3. But it's for registered users only.

The Photoshop CS3 beta is being released for both Mac and Windows users, with the Mac version being the long awaited Universal Binary, which allows it to be installed on both Intel-based Apple Macintosh systems and PowerPC Macs. Windows designers will need to have either XP or Vista installed to run the beta.

The final release date for Photoshop CS3 is not planned until the Spring of 2007. However, Adobe are making this public beta available so as to "enable customers to more easily transition to the latest hardware platforms".
