Animate Exeter

Animators of all ages are being invited to enter their films to win one of two prestigious prizes during next year’s Animated Exeter festival (12 – 24 February 2007).

There are three categories and the festival audiences will vote for the winners. Best of the West, open to South West student animators, Screen Out Loud, open to amateur or professional animator’s resident in the South West. Selected films from both categories are eligible for the ‘New Emerging Talent Award – Over 18s’, supported by South West Screen and could win a prize of £500. Exanimation, open to children, young people’s animation workshops, school groups or individuals under the age of 18, based in the South West. Films selected in this category will be eligible for the ‘New Emerging Talent Award - Under 18s’ supported by AT Computers and could win a new computer for their school or group.
