The new Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation which will come into force on July 1st 2007 means that businesses must dispose of old computers and IT equipment responsibly. actnow has teamed up with Computers for Charity, a national charity based in Bude, that will collect your old computers for a nominal fee. The computers are then recycled and provided to needy people in Cornwall or shipped to communities in Africa.
