DPN members Absolute Software have been in business for 8 years! (then known as Smart Software) The company was started on the 4th August 2000. Absolute Software's focus from day one has been to provide quality software in a customer-centric fashion - this means putting their customers needs first. This underlying philosophy has proven to be very successful and has resulted in a dramatic year-on-year growth of the business.

In November 2004, Smart Software became Absolute Software Limited. This was part of a wider plan to increase the professionalism of their service. they developed a new corporate image and earned their Microchip Consultancy Certification.
In 2008, Absolute Software are entering the third phase of the business, where they are using their experience and maturity to provide a first class service that is unprecedented in the embedded software industry.
